birthday dinner - 囍宴

今日係母親大人生日, 我地去左Jacky Yu 主理既私房菜.
我一早訂左枱, 佢地仲一早email 左個菜單俾我, 不過我估佢個電郵都係用send mail 係唔check 既. 因為我回覆左佢我要咩菜單, 同埋問佢地收唔收credit card, 一D 反應都無. 跟住佢打黎confirm 果陣, 又問左一次.

今日食既係$580 一位既菜單

頭盤 appetizer
清酒黄金一口鮑魚 braised abalone in Japanese soy sauce
黑松露桂花薰蛋 osmanthus smoked egg topped with truffle slices
貴妃醉蝦 drunken shrimps
瑤柱絲涼拌萬年青 conpoy shreds with choy-sum

主菜 main
金牌口水雞 Sichuan spicy chicken
金不換辣酒煮蟹 stir fried spicy crabs with basil
香茅柑桔菊花魚 chrysanthemun mandarin fish lemongrass calamansi sauce
梅子石榴 soaked guavas with dried sour plums
燕窩津梨燉土雞 Stewed chicken with pear and bird’s nest soup
脆瓜炒仙菇 Stir fried mix mushrooms with pickled cucumber

甜品 dessert
私房自家製雪糕 homemade ice-cream

食物份量比我想像中大, 鮑魚幾好食喎, 不過只係九孔鮑, 口水雞幾好, 其他都不過不失, 但個黑松露, 可能係我唔識欣賞, 我就覺得麻麻地, 好似無乜特別味道, 同埋條魚我都食唔出佢係魚, 炸到唔知食緊乜, 可能菊花魚係咁掛., 而且隻蟹唔係幾新鮮, 或者係鋪頭養左一段時間, 好瘦.

總括而言, 我覺得 overprice 左. $480 會算係一個合理價錢.
