約了J, C 同M 食晚飯, 他們提議去愉景灣, 我從來沒有去過愉景灣, 也舉手讚成. 6:45 下班, 匆匆乘東涌線到香港站, 等C 來到,等七點五十分的船到愉景灣. 雖然只是25分鐘船程, 但愉景灣和中環,實在有天淵之別. 愉景灣給人的是一種很優閑, 很relax 的感覺, 我們遊了一回兒,在海邊的木椅上坐下來等M 和J.

她們到了之後, 我們隨意的選了Hemingway's By The Bay, 環境不俗,我們在露天位找了個位子, 雖然有點大風, 但因為有暖爐, 也不覺凍.

差不多一千大元, 不算太貴, 但食物不算出色, 下次我再來愉景灣, 也不會再去了.

相信有路經亞士厘道的朋友, 都知道有這一間店子. 但由於門口沒有菜牌, 門口的裝潢又好像很高級的, 我一直沒有想過去試一下.

直到星期日, 再次路過, 看到有地下一層有鐵板燒, 好像十分吸引, 友人便提議一試, 我心想, 如果太貴的,便只叫兩客烏冬罷, 應該也不過500. 便走了入內. 當時是雖然是比較早, 但也到了晚飯時間, 店內連我們在內, 也只有十多位人客, 心立即涼了一下. 是因為食物味道不好,還是價錢太貴而弄致門可羅雀呢?

侍應招呼我們坐下, 我們看了一看菜牌, 幸好也不算太昂貴, 我們點了一客二人份量的神戶牛肉SABU SABU,一價值 460元, 一客燒銀雪魚,賣90大元. 本來還想再叫, 但怕點得太多, 兩個人吃不下, 於是決定等Sabu sabu 上桌後才再點菜.

燒銀雪魚味道是一般, 沒什麼特別, 神戶牛肉的確出色, 我們還另再叫了白飯和烏冬, 再加一碟美國牛肉. 美國牛肉和神戶牛肉相比, 實在差得太遠了. 烏冬也非常出色.

是晚兩個人, 合共8佰多元.

初看的時候, 有點悶, 但越看越得有味道, 大抵是那種淡淡的描寫方法, 很生活的把對母親, 父親的感情刻劃了出來.

2007 review & 2008 vision

打從出來社會工作, 時間便好像開了turbo 一樣, 一下子便過去了. 開心的, 不開心的事情每天都發生, 又過去了. 2007 年也在這種狀態下過去了.

學業上, 2007 應該算是豐收的一天, 雖然原先定下的還有許多未能成事, 但也一直向著目標向前.

收成表:
- 碩士畢業 (因為其中一科考得太差了, 即使後來加倍努力, GGA 都只有2.9x, 差0.0x 才有2nd honor upper, 是有點失望的成績)
- PMP 課程
- CFA LEVEL 1 考試 (一年考了兩次, 實在太辛苦了, 雖然成績還未公布, 但努力過了, 無論結果如果, 個人以為也巳經是一種成就)

工作上, 2007 算是比較平穩的一年, 由合約工轉了長工, 當中, 離開或是留下, 的確令我困擾了好一等子, 但現在一切都巳經落實了.

還有很多
- 減肥 : 本來在十一月尾巳經接近目標, 但一輪Christmas 派對之後, 巳回升不少. 減肥真的是一個女人的終身事業
- 爸媽的日本之旅: 最後因為價錢問題, 他們去了內地旅行, 有點可惜, 但卻為我省了不少金錢.
- Double my saving: 因為十一, 十二月股票不景氣, 最終只能有80% 增長.
- 日文能力試: 因為要考第二次CFA, 放棄了日文能力試


2007 回顧完了, 也是時候作一個2008展望.

日語能力試 - 再努力!
儲畜 - 由於上年年尾的不景氣及未來的其他開支影響, 今年升幅目標下降至50%
車牌 - 希望考到車牌, 第二次考牌日期為一月十日
買車 - 也許是一種心理上滿足而巳

也許還有其他, 遲些再落實.

Good bye to U

Today is the last day of U in Hong Kong, he will back to home town, and most probably go to UK office. We went to sham tsang for farewell dinner.

I will miss him. :)

National Treasure: Book of Secret - Switch off your brain before entering cinema

Nicolas Cage, one of my favorite actor, it is the reason for me to watch that movie, well, the movie is so so, not much surprise, but enough for entertainment.

But don't try to figure out the weakness of story, it is too easy to find.

Warlords - 投名狀

Nothing to do at Christmas night, saw U online, so dated him to have dinner together, then, gathered with J to watch Warlord. The reason for choosing this movie is simple, cause, it is the movie i can think of and both J and I haven't watched yet. And of course, it provided english subtitle, so U can watch without translation.

I didn't expect that it is so bloody, but I think it is a good movie. Someone said it is good cause it used a lot of $, but I don't think only money can make a good movie, see Heros, I don't really like that.

The story is simple and lots of area for thinking, like brotherhood, love, power and anti-war, message are simple but fair enough. And of course, actors are performed quite well, I started to like Jay Lee. :)

Bee Movie - It is only for under 18

Read from poster, said it is another movie that comparable with Sherk and Madagascar, s o I am expecting it is same class as Sherk and Madagascar, but i am completely wrong!

The CG is good, but the story is only for under 18. Kind of boring.

my new toy - Ricoh GX100

bought before went to Korea. Found it is not good in indoor, but the shot in outdoor is excellent.

Life after CFA

2 weeks after CFA, still have no relax feeling, cause I had to catch up for the schedule of product release, worked in office till 10:00 for few days, and prepare for the business trip to korea.

Super busy even in Korea, worked till 2:00 am for first few days, then, after my boss in US started her vocation, my life become easier, at least, I dont have to reply her email bombs.

Went to the Korean house, a village that specially for tourist, displayed several traditional korean style houses.

3:30 pm. Took the airport bus to aiport. Back to HK!

my life in korea - day 6

Woke up at 11:00! Shower and then went out to the most famour palace in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung. I was very lucky to catch the tour visit at 1:00 pm. The scenes in the palace is very nice. ^_^

Left at around 3:00, ahead to watch JUMP, a non-verbal performance in Korea, the show has the elements of korean culture, tae kwon do and acrobatics. A very interesting show.

After the show, I found my wallet is lost. Not sure whether I dropped it or being stolen. >_<>

my life in korea - day 5

arrived office at 09:50 am, switched on the laptop, started to work for while, waited for other colleagues. Well, it is not a working mood day, everybody get ready, and left office at 10:15 a.m.. Today is the wedding banquet of two colleagues, SJ and L. They knew each other in office and dated for 2 years, only few colleagues discovered that. haha ..

The wedding was hold in function hall in University, most people dressed in formal, but i was wearing jean! The photographer even asked me to stand at the last row. :P

The wedding ceremony is in western style, not much different with HK, something interest is, the bride has her own room for photo taking, she just sited on the sofa. Much more comfortable than in HK.

After the wedding, everybody went back to office and prepare for another event. Annual Dinner! The dinner was in Japanese style. Nice food, nice soju. And there is snow outside. It is my first time to see snowing. We even played snow fight outside the restaurant.

After dinner, we even went to Karaoke, but, u know me well, I don't know any Korean songs. So, I just acted as photographer, to picture down the dance in Karaoke.

The snow became more and more heavy, when i just enter the hotel, snow on my shoulder melted cause of the warmer. The water even dropped to floor, what a shame.

woke up late again, but luckily, I am not the latest one. K has to check out from hotel. So, i waited him lobby.

Arrive office at 10:30, meeting and meeting, and working. What a busy life. Went to have Japanese food with colleagues, yummy!

Still busy after lunch, K went back to Hong Kong at 7:45, A is not free tonight, so, I went to have dinner with Korean Colleagues alone. The restaurant is a localized place, very Korean style. The food is good.

Went to Dongdaemon with CH and HK, my Korean colleagues, they are so nice, picked me to there, and taught me how to take Subway, subway in Seoul is a very complicated system, over 200 subway stations. I guess i will be messed up if I go alone. -___-

So cold outside, -5 I guess, but many Korean ladies wore short pant, brave! Dongdaemon is a crowding place like Mong Kok or even more energetic, those shops opened for 24 hrs!

Ate some korean local street foods, I dont know what is that, but all tasted good, cause all are hot! So marvelous.

Cant woke up on time, rush for shower, then left hotel at 9:35.

Another meeting at 10:00, lated for 10 mins, what a shame.

Went to have ginseng chicken soup with soju, taste good, I started to love that.

Kept busy after lunch, then, forgot what I did actually, then time for dinner.

Went to have dinner with Korean development team, i found that Korean like soup very much, they have soup in every dish. The funny thing is, they put rice in soup after finished the dishes.

Went to Gangnam with K and A, many people are there, just hang around and ate some street food. Good taste.

my life in korea - day 2

Woke up at 8:30 a.m., my hands were dry out, and bleeding... so terrible.

finished shower and dress up, I like having shower in winter, at least twice per day! The feeling is so good.

9:30, left hotel, so cold outside, I guess there are only 3 degree on street.

today is a meeting day, finished tons of meeting.

went out for lunch with colleagues, forgot what I ate already.

Having dinner with big boss, great Korea BBQ and soju, the taste is beautiful.

Back office after dinner, some Korean colleagues are still there, then i worked till 9, back hotel to continue till now. Time to sleep.

my life in korea - day 1

It is the first day in Korea, very cold here, -1 degree at night, Korean colleague said there may have rain tomorrow. O... my god.

Today is not a easy day, dated K at 8:25 a.m., arrived airport at 8, went to cathy pacific check in counter, chose the short queue, thought I must be able to meet K on time. However, 8:25 a.m., still queuing for check-in; 8:35, queuing for check-in; 8:45, queuing for check-in; 8:50, my turn finally, I complained of long queuing time, the operator said it is due to system problem on cathy pacific check-in system -____- . What a shame.

starving for food, rush to cafe de coral, used ten minutes to finish my breakfast, 9:35, ran to gate, the last one get on flight, safe finally, i hope.

Arrived Korea Incheon Airpoirt at 3 something, K lost his luggage, but the staff in Korea is quite helpful, we waited around 30 mins, lucky enough, they found the luggage finally. Someone took the luggage, and thought it was belonged to him. -___-

Good time is coming, went to have dinner with Korean colleagues, a very traditional Korea cooking style, kimchi, bean sprouts and sausage, a strange combination.

Back office after dinner, started raining, it likes freezing me, thanks KH, he return to office and took umbrella to us.

CFA - 1 day to go

聽日考CFA了. 今日居然病左, 想是早兩天在公司冷親. 雖然只是傷風感冒, 但鼻塞和流鼻水的感覺很難受. 鼻子下的皮膚因經常磨擦而損了, 很痛. 還要溫書, 邊個古人話小病是褔? 小病是褔這結果, 只有在得閒病時, 而病才出現!
